It was a balmy 8 degrees here today... we enjoyed some time outside, going to a walk, talking with the neighbours... just getting some fresh air. What a nice and pleasant change from the -20 we have been getting.
Last night we went to the H.O.G. social... it was fun, met some new people.. though I thought it might have been more organized. BUT, with that said.. we needed to get out and meet new people.. and it was the perfect opportunity. Eric already has a partner to ride with when the new season starts.. they both have 2007 HD Sportster 1200C's... so it should be fun for them.
I was talking to Mom today, as per normal... and she's told me that Gran is going downhill fast... insofar as actually 'seeing the light' last night. They didn't think she would make it through the night, but was actually a teensy bit better this morning.. probably as the result of the antibiotics for the UTI. However, fact is, she has COPD, heart failure and they've recently discovered a tumor on her bronchial tubes... so it sadly doesn't look as though it will be long before her big journey begins. I feel helpless out here, wishing so badly that I could be there... I asked Mom to tell Gran that I love her... I hope she's coherent enough to hear it. :(

Yep! It was nice here too so I took Kristen for a walk while Kaylee took her nap (DH was home of course) :)

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma-it's hard to sit by and watch when our love ones aren't doing well..you do feel helpless.
