Speaking of dogs... I had the basement door open so Stella could wander in and out.. and suddenly I hear a loud CRUNCH. Stella is on the COUCH chewing on a nasty MOUSE that Cleo must have killed and left outside. BLECH. I still cannot get the sound of that crunching our of my brain. Ugh...
Okay, enough of the lovely stories. I took the boys for their eye exams and Blake will need glasses by next year probably, and turns out Cole has a weak left eye and will benefit from glasses right now. So, with the Alberta government's program, he picked out a free pair today and they should be in soon. He will just wear them while watching TV and seeing the board.. and we go back in 3 months for him, to see if it's any better and if we should be patching his eye... (I get flashbacks of my eye patches, taking them off with that sticky adhesive was BAD.. lol.. but my Mom and Dad always drew something cool on them for me). So, I will post pictures when he gets his glasses... he looks darn cute in them.. even if I was hoping they wouldn't need glasses until they're about 10!
So, Gran got transferred to the hospice yesterday.. and Aunt Judy has been down the last week or so, and is staying a while longer. Gran is in and out of coherence.. a lot of garbled talk that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to US, but it does to her. I pray every day for her..
Anyways.. I should mosey... I have laundry to fold and trim to paint, kids to play with and a kitchen to clean. :)
Oh, and an oldie just for your viewing pleasure.. lol
