Okay.. so like...

WHEW... I am glad that's over! LOL. I love holidays, don't get me wrong... but the baking and cooking over a hot stove had me WORN right out! We enjoyed a dinner of ham and baked pineapple, scalloped taters, glazed carrots, homemade buns and lemon meringue pie... and I ate wayyy too much easter chocolate. I have a weakness for Mini Eggs. Oi vey.
The easter bunny went way overboard (I don't believe in outright presents for Easter, but none the less, I am not complaining).... he brought me a Lindt gold bunny and a huge bag of mini eggs... and THESE:

I think the easter bunny went a TAD bit overboard, and perhaps wants me to feel guilty? LOL. But, they're beautiful... I now have quite the collection of Swarovski.. and it needs to STOP! :) Everytime Eric and I go to dinner at Dante's.. just the two of us.. the waitress ALWAYS brings me a package of the stuff... so I have committed to not going there anymore!

So, Cole turns SIX on April 16th.. who told him he could go ahead and grow up? *sniff* He wanted his room done... so we're getting rid of the bunkbeds and got him this bed (we wanted something solid wood)..

and of course, he needed a quilt set featuring trains... so this Pottery Barn Kids set will grace his bed.. I got it on clearance, in a last ditch effort, I took a quick look at HomeSense's clearance section and voila... one lone twin set with trains! I was so stoked!

Isn't it CUTE? I am also going to be stencilling large words on his wall... I think perhaps "I Think I Can, I Know I Can" .... or if you have any other suggestions... please let me know :)

Before I go, I have to post the most recent layouts... for your viewing pleasure.. hehe.
