Well, it's been a couple weeks.... the boys and I were planning a trip to BC on Mar 23 to see Gran... I wanted to tell her how much I love her... but I got word on Thursday morning.. the 22nd.. that she had passed at 3:10 am. So, we made the trip out for a funeral instead. I did get to see her and give her a kiss goodbye... and spent a lot of time with funeral arrangements to help out Mom and Aunt Judy, Grandpa and the rest of the family. I gave the eulogy, but in my mind, the eulogy is still playing. I think of her constantly.
The 13.5 hour drive each way with the boys was a bit tiring, but I am so glad I got to go out and be there. I spent some nice time with Mom and got to see Jennifer... but did not visit with anyone per se.
Here is the photo we used on her memorial pamphlet.. I decided to scrapbook it tonight for my heritage album, this is Gran at age 16.. wasn't she stunning?
